I cannot hear this song without instantly thinking about the AFL Grand Final. Not just our Grand Final in 2008, but the event itself. Some ever-present and clever advertising by Channel 10 has paired it with the one day in September (October last and this year).
Of course, this posted version for Day 7 of the 30 Day Song Challenge, has also let me indulge in reviewing some of the clips from Sound Relief. Now that was some amazing music and communtiy spirited event!
