I can't actually remember actually visiting Luna Park in Melbourne before. Having been past it a gazillion times, I couldn't recall actually going in and experiencing it for real. This I fixed when Chrystal was in Melbourne visiting, and I played guide for a day or two. Walking through under the teeth of that iconic face sitting in prime position in St Kilda, we took in the rides and smells and layout. Then we joined the line for the Scenic Railway, for our ride along the rattly, ricketty tracks all around the complex. This ride was faster and thrilling in bits, a little more than I expected!
